NUX Metal Core Deluxe Effects Pedal
The NUX Metal Core Deluxe is a versatile, high quality distortion pedal.
Distortion is one of the most commonly used effects, producing a broken up/distorted sound often associated with heavy rock and metal bands. The Metal Core Deluxe produces not one but two different distortion sounds or 'voices'. Voice 1 is a characteristic gritty 'scooped' metal distortion sound, perfect for shredders from hell. Voice 2 is a more modern distortion sound with well-balanced EQ frequencies. The four adjustment knobs (gain, level, bass and treble) give you even more distortion/tone shaping options.
The Metal Core has a built-in noise gate with an adjustable gate parameter (hold down the footswitch and use the 'gain' knob to adjust gate level as desired). The pedal also has a Tone-lock function (dead-man switch designed to freeze/save current settings). The pedal is powered by a 9V battery or power supply (not included).
